West, East Oktibbeha split boys, girls rivalry outings

January 26, 2014

MABEN – One of the strongest high school rivalries in the state of Mississippi is the one between East and West Oktibbeha.
The two schools revived that rivalry on the basketball court Saturday.
In the first contest, it was the Lady Titans defeating West Oktibbeha 62-59.
“It builds a bit more confidence for the girls and hopefully the rest of the season we can play like we played (Saturday night),” East Oktibbeha coach Randy Brooks said.
