LOUISVILLE – The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers held off a furious comeback in the fourth period by Winston Patriots to win 47-44.

In the fourth period, things got interesting. With Starkville Academy up 39-25, the Lady Patriots outscored the Lady Vols 19-8, but the comeback fell short at the end.
