Honor Band students make friends, memories

MSU Director of Bands Elva Kaye Lance calls the university’s annual Honor Band Clinic “the Super Bulldog Weekend of the band program.”

Super Bulldog Weekend, in addition to featuring MSU’s spring football game, a baseball series and other athletic events, is also one of MSU’s biggest athletic recruiting weekends, Kaye said. At the MSU Honor Band Clinic, she said, faculty make an effort to recruit high school students to the university’s Famous Maroon Band.
