SA girls start strong, finish for the victory

The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers started and finished Friday night's Class AAA, Division II game well.
After jumping out to a 31-8 lead in the second quarter, the Lady Vols saw the visiting Pillow Academy Lady Mustangs make a 12-0 run in the third quarter and cut the margin to 37-30 after three quarters.
Starkville Academy regained control of the situation, out-scored Pillow Academy by 10 points in the fourth quarter and won a 57-40 decision.
The Lady Vols improved their records to 19-6 overall and 8-1 in the conference.
