Bulldogs visit St. Jude Children's Hospital on Friday

December 28, 2013

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen understands how lucky and blessed he is.
He was reminded of that on Friday when his team went to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl events.
“It’s pretty special,” the fifth-year Bulldog coach said. “It’s a very humbling experience for us. You look at these young people and they’re obviously, talk about fighters. Hopefully they taught our kids a little bit of toughness (Friday). If we can go there, put a smile on people’s faces and say this is unbelievable, (It) is pretty special.”
The Bulldogs visited with kids and families as they brought smiles to the young children and warmed their hearts.
