MEMPHIS, Tenn. – There wasn’t much time for the Mississippi State Bulldogs to celebrate Christmas.
A day after one of the biggest holidays in the country, the Bulldogs arrived at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tenn., for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
“It feels real good to get back here,” MSU junior wide receiver Jameon Lewis said. “Had a couple of days off. It was fun while it lasted, but we were just ready to get to Memphis and the Liberty Bowl. We just have to get this W and finish this season off real strong.”
The Bulldogs (6-6) will play Conference USA champion Rice (10-3) in the Liberty Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
