MSU fined by SEC for violation of Artificial Noisemaker Policy

December 21, 2013

Mississippi State was fined $25,000 by the Southeastern Conference for violation of the SEC's Artificial Noisemaker Policy during the 2013 football season.
SEC Commissioner Mike Slive made the announcement on Friday.
The fine was due to the cowbells that Bulldog fans ring during games. The league allows them in games, but can only be used at certain times during the game.
