Starkville boys adjust to defeat talented Holt

December 21, 2013

COLUMBUS – The Starkville Yellowjackets faced one of Alabama's top ranked teams in Holt at the Joe Horne Christmas Classic.
“We didn’t know much about this team, so early on it was about feeling each other out,” SHS boys coach Greg Carter said. “Once we figured them out, we were able to adjust and we did a pretty good job.”
Those adjustments worked as the Jackets pulled off a 52-43 victory over the much bigger Ironmen team, but the team has very little time to rest as they come back to face Tuscaloosa Central this afternoon.
