Starkville High School quarterback Princeton Jones was rewarded for the progress he made last season as he was recognized as the Quarterback of the Year in Class 6A, Region 2.
With all of the talent that can be found at quarterback in the region, coach Jamie Mitchell of the Jackets was happy that Jones was considered the best.
"When you are talking about Madison Central, Columbus, Clinton and Northwest Rankin, that's a huge honor," Mitchell said. "There were a lot of folks who were really impressed with him as well."
