Student newspaper hosts forum on consolidation

For the second time, community members looked to Twitter to glean more information about the Starkville and Oktibbeha County school districts’ consolidation on Tuesday evening.

Parents for Public Schools of Starkville first hosted a Twitter town hall in November. On Tuesday, student journalists for The Jacket Buzz, the Starkville High School student newspaper, partnered with PPPS and the Greater Starkville Development Partnership to host an online forum geared toward students and teachers.
