As we approach the Christmas season, I would like to bring to the attention of the people of Starkville the critical need to support local businesses. During the last year Starkville’s growth and potential for economic progress had never looked brighter. Let’s not backslide because of our national economy. It is imperative that we, as citizens of Starkville and the surrounding area, do all that we can to support our fragile small businesses. Locally owned businesses need your support more than ever during these tough times.
