The Mississippi State women's basketball team has played well at home this season and head coach Vic Schaefer says that must continue tonight against a very talented Southern Miss squad.
Going back to last season, the Bulldogs have won 10 of 11 games at Humphrey Coliseum and has taken 13-straight non-conference decisions on the home floor.
"Something we've talked about as a program is defending our home court," Schaefer said. "We have really embraced protecting our home court."
MSU has won all six games played in Starkville so far this season.
It will be a meeting of one loss teams when the Bulldogs (9-1) take on the Golden Eagles (6-1) with the tip scheduled for 7 p.m.
