East Webster teams split in tournament action

December 14, 2013

ACKERMAN – In order to have success, you have to put in the work necessary, and for the Lady Wolverines of East Webster, that means continuing to get court time under their feet.
To make that happen, the team took part in the Choctaw County Tournament where they picked up a pair of victories including a 46-20 win over Caledonia on Friday.
“Having a game where we don’t have a home gym and are having to travel a lot, this is a very nice place to come and play," East Webster girls coach Todd Hutchinson said. "They have good people and a good facility to play in. We wind up, get two great victories and get to play a lot of the younger kids which is what we needed just makes it all the better.”
