Mississippi State lost a good many pieces from last season's College World Series team.
Outfielder and big stick Hunter Renfroe has since moved on to professional baseball. Shortstop Adam Frazier and arms Chad Girodo and Kendall Graveman are also giving it a shot at professional baseball.
Those four players were a big reason the Bulldogs made it all the way to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb. They finished as runner-ups as UCLA swept the national championship series.
This fall has been about finding guys to fill holes and developing a host of young players. Head coach John Cohen liked what he saw from his team during the fall practices.
