School group setting sights on finished product

The Commission on Starkville Consolidated School District Structure will meet at 9 a.m. today in the Greensboro Center to continue preparations on a final list of recommendations to submit to the Mississippi legislature.

The commission, which was formed earlier this year by House Bill 716 that mandated the July 2015 consolidation of the Starkville and Oktibbeha County school districts, has worked to compile a list of recommendations for the merger to present to legislators by March.
