SHS preparing for indoor season

December 4, 2013

The Starkville Yellowjackets begin the indoor track season on Saturday with anticipation.
For SHS track coach Steve Griffin, he wants to see how far his young Yellowjackets have come.
“Coming into indoor we have a good opportunity to work on some things from last year,” Griffin said. “We get to see our where our sprinters are and our distance runners are joining us after finishing up cross country season. Overall, we have a young team, but we are looking to our returning seniors to step up and get us to the next level.”
