French Camp looks to extend season

November 29, 2013

French Camp is not ready to quit playing football just yet.
When coach Nathan Wright made the call to let the Panthers know they would have to practice during Thanksgiving break, each and every one of them showed up ready to go on Monday.
From day one, that has been the mentality at French Camp. It is not a one man job, but rather it takes each person representing the school and giving it their all for the team to succeed.
“Everybody has contributed,” Wright said. “One of the things at the Bogue Chitto game is we had guys stepping up all over. We had guys fielding onside kids to the water boys on the sidelines doing their part. Everybody has been a major factor.”
