Mississippi State women's basketball junior guard Kendra Grant is getting more and more comfortable with her shot.
Grant has also increased her scoring output from 13 to 14 and tied a career-high with 23 points for the Bulldogs in a 111-38 victory over New Orleans.
The improved production can be attributed to something MSU head coach Vic Schaefer and his staff saw as a flaw in the way Grant was shooting.
Schaefer said Grant has gone from trying to shoot right-eye dominant to left-eye dominant.
"A right-handed shooter is left-eye dominant and you can tell by just standing behind people what eye they are looking at," Schaefer said. "Before, she was looking out of her right eye. You've got to move it to get a natural right-handed shot and you've got to train that left eye.
