Grant, Bulldogs cruise to victory

November 17, 2013

There was no slow start for Mississippi State women's basketball player Kendra Grant on Sunday.
Grant made 6-of-6 shots from the field in the first half, including both 3-point field goal attempts for 14 points as the Bulldogs scored 61 points by halftime.
MSU didn't look back and defeated New Orleans 111-38 at Humphrey Coliseum to improve its record to 3-0 this season.
The 111 points tied for the third most in school history and was the most scored in a game by the Bulldogs since 115 against Belhaven in 1993. The 73-point result was the second-largest margin of victory in school history, only trailing the 117-35 win against Judson College in 1986.
