Lady Vols turn up defense to get victory

November 13, 2013

SA stepped up its defense Tuesday night as it claimed a 42-34 victory over Jackson Prep.
“Prep, they have two or three players that are offensive threats,” Starkville Academy coach Glenn Schmidt said. “(Ann Hilton) Buckner is a phenomenal offensive player. I thought we did a good job on her. We did handle the press well.”
