During every week, Mississippi State defensive coordinator Geoff Collins tells the media about the tough offense his squad is about to face.
There are not many offenses tougher than what the Bulldogs face today.
MSU (4-4, 1-3) travels to College Station, Texas, to take on No. 11 Texas A&M (7-2, 3-2) and the defending Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.
Last year in Starkville, Manziel had a monster day with 440 yards of total offense. He threw for 311 and rushed for 129 with two scores on the ground.
Manziel is on pace to have a better season than last. He has completed 200-of-276 passes for 2,867 yards. He has 26 passing touchdowns and just eight interceptions with a team-high 564 yards rushing and eight more scores.
"I don't think there's any secret right now about who he is," Collins said. "He's a big-time quarterback, and a big-time leader."
