Coach Jeff Terrill said the Volunteers will almost be looking at its reflection when they take the field against Pillow Academy tonight.
Both teams are very active on offense and tenacious on defense so Terrill expects an “exciting game.”
“Pillow comes in and we are very mirror-like teams with both offensive and defensive schemes,” Terrill said. “Offensively, they run multiple schemes. They are athletic at the quarterback position and they play a duo of athletes at quarterback at times. Defensively, they get to the ball well. They are aggressive so it ought to be an exciting game.”
Action will be full throttle on the field, but before the game gets started Starkville Academy will take time to honor a few of its own as six seniors suit up for the final time in orange and blue.
