Eupora stresses team aspect as Class 2A postseason starts

November 8, 2013

The thing about Eupora is it is not a one-man show.
“The one thing about this team is a different player has stepped up every time we have needed them to,” Eagles coach Junior Graham said. “We have not been consistent as far as the same guy doing it every night. Throughout the course of the season, guys have stepped up when we have needed them to.”
Graham will once again be calling on his team of Eagles (7-2) to rise to the challenge tonight as they face South Delta in the first round of the playoffs.
It will be no easy task as the Bulldogs possess a long tradition of “good football” and are very athletic on both sides of the ball. They have size on their side as Graham says they might be “one of the biggest teams” Eupora has faced all season.
With a strong South Delta team (6-5) on the opposite side of the field and with everything on the line, Graham knows the time is now for Eupora.
