Although Halloween hasn’t even quite arrived, many church members at First United Methodist Church already have their sights set on Christmas shopping with the church’s eighth annual Christmas Handworks Bazaar on Friday.

“It’s an event, it’s not just shopping,” Pam Hunt , vendor coordinator, said. “It’s a good way to get introduced to the holiday season. People think, ‘OK. I’m ready for Christmas now.’”
