Phillip Courtney Windham

Phillip Courtney Windham, 61 of Starkville, was taken by our Lord on October 23, 2013. 
Phillip attended Starkville High School after which he served six years in the Army.  At the time of his discharge, he was a mechanic in a tank division.  After his stay in the Army he worked for Sprint Mart in Starkville until he retired.  Phillip enjoyed cooking, music, old classic movies, animals and people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Rice Bartran Windham and Hinkle Windham; uncles, Dan Bartran(Susie), Robert Bartran (Melba), Bill Windham and wife, Mamie; and aunt, Jeanette Hill (Dick).
He is survived by his brother, Ryan Isaac Windham and wife, Debbie Windham; sister, Jorie Michelle Windham Taquino and brother-in-law and friend, Carl Frank Taquino; daughters, Heather Rizwan and Evelyn Windham; sons, PhillipWindham, Allen Windham, and Joshua Windham; several grandchildren; and aunt and uncle Bill and Augusta Steiner.
Visitation for Mr. Windham is scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2013 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
