Chargers blank Lions

October 19, 2013

ACKERMAN – The Choctaw County Chargers entered Friday’s game on a five-game win streak and after defeating Southeast Lauderdale 45-0, that streak moved to six.
The win was a little extra special for a few members of the Chargers football team. As the team lined up to face the Lions, they were also setting up for their final regular season home game which meant a celebration of the seniors. Being able to send those guys out with a win was pretty nice, but Dillinger made sure that each member of the team knew there was still a game to play.
“It is the way you want to end it, but at the same time, it is a game,” Dillinger said. “We had senior stuff, but we always tell them don’t get wrapped up in that because you have a lot of football left.”
