Tri-City Association holds event for good cause

October is breast cancer awareness month and in Starkville, a group is planning something special for the cause.
On Oct. 26, the Tri-City Bowling Association will be sponsoring Strike Out for Cancer at Bulldog Lanes which will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Highlighted by bowling, door prizes and raffles the event is set to kickoff at 1 p.m., with bowling taking place until 3 p.m.
