OK, the Mississippi State Bulldogs are now 3-3 overall after a 21-20 homecoming victory over Bowling Green.
Let's see what they can do with the rest of the season.
We are now exactly at the halfway point of the season and trying to figure out this bunch of Bulldogs remains a very difficult thing to do.
There are some tests upcoming for MSU that are going to determine whether it can keep a winning season in the works and possible NCAA postseason bowl appearance.
While looking at the final six games of the schedule for the Bulldogs, it's hard to find at least three more wins there.
MSU has no more cream puff, non-conference games left. It's back to the grind of the Southeastern Conference slate on Oct. 24 when the Bulldogs host the Kentucky Wildcats.
After that comes a stretch of games against ranked opponents for MSU with No. 14 South Carolina (Nov. 2) and No. 9 Texas A&M (Nov. 9) at home and No. 1 Alabama (Nov. 16) at home.
