Eupora loses at home to Bruce

October 12, 2013

EUPORA – The Eupora Eagles were able to find some offense in the first half.
The second half was a different story.
The only points for Eupora in the second half came with 12 seconds left as it fell to the Bruce Trojans 25-20 in a Class 2A, Region 4 matchup Friday night.
With the loss, the Eagles are now 5-1 for the season and 0-1 in division play. They get Okolona at home next Friday night.
"We knew going in we had four difficult weeks facing us, and this was a difficult one," Eupora head coach Junior Graham said. "We're going to work on Okolona.
"We've got the right plan here for the type kids we've got."
