Noxubee Refuge head speaks to Rotary club

October 1, 2013

As the product of an Army family, Steve Reagan has lived many places in his life, but after 14 months in Starkville as the director for the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee Wildlife Refuge, Reagan has found himself enjoying Starkville.

“Everybody in the community has made me feel very welcome here,” Reagan said. “It’s been a very nice place for me to stay and it’s a very rewarding refuge for me to work at … this is one of the few places I’ve been where I’ve thought, ‘I can stay here I while.’ I see a potential for the refuge.”
