Four games into the season, Mississippi State has seen its fair share of highs and lows.
The Bulldogs (2-2, 0-1) are coming off a 62-7 victory over Troy on Saturday. Being satisfied going into the off week is something MSU head coach Dan Mullen doesn't want his players to be.
"With a young group of guys, we need to continue to improve," Mullen said. "We're going to watch this film, there's going to be a lot of things we're going to have to correct. The reality is we're going to have some things, just like last week, we have to correct. We're just going to do it with a big smile on our face."
The players will have today off and get back to the practice fields on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs return to the gridiron in two weeks time when they host No. 6 LSU (4-0, 1-0) and will need to be at full health to have a chance against the Tigers. Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen has watched his team have highs and lows this season. (Photo by Rogelio V. Solis, AP)
