SHS beats Heritage in three sets

September 17, 2013

The last time Starkville High faced Heritage Academy in volleyball, the Lady Patriots walked away with the win.
This time things were different as the Lady Yellowjackets defeated Heritage Academy in three-straight sets 25-19, 25-17 and 25-9.
“We have definitely put our time in the gym and put our focus on conditioning,” SHS volleyball coach Lauren Love said. “We were able to pass a lot better. When our passing breaks down, our whole offensive system breaks down. This time we were able to limit our errors, pass better and stay focused on every point.”
