Moments where we remember precisely where we were at a given point in time are relatively few. Be they personal or set upon the international stage, moments such as these are precious snippets of time that leave a mark so profound on the soul and the national â€” global â€” community, words will never fully express their true nature.
Nov. 22, 1963, comes to mind. While it was before my time, Iâ€™ve never known anyone of the age to remember who couldnâ€™t tell you exactly where they were standing and what they were doing the moment President John F. Kennedy was shot. The memory still brings tears to my fatherâ€™s eyes.
