People rarely juxtapose drinking and knowledge, but several Starkville bars combine those two on a weekly basis.

On any given weeknight in Starkville, bars and restaurants are filled with trivia goers putting their knowledge to the test.

Trivia nights happen from Mondays through Thursdays in Starkville and begin anywhere from 7-9 p.m., lasting one to two hours. Halfway House gets the week started with trivia at 9 p.m. on Mondays. Will Dixon, a regular at Halfway House's trivia, said he enjoys the competitive event.
