There were plenty of at-bats, rounding of the bases and outs caught during Saturday's 11th annual Exposure Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament.
The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers took part in the event where they faced some of the best teams in Mississippi, and while they gained game experience, the Lady Volunteers were not able to post anything in the wins column.
Starkville Academy faced Magnolia Heights first where it dropped an 11-0 contest, followed by a 16-1 loss to Jackson Prep. The Lady Vols ended their day with a 16-5 loss at the hands of Calhoun Academy.
