Forever Outdoors plans a fundraiser barbecue

August 16, 2013

On Sept. 13, five American soldiers from Mississippi will travel to Kansas to take back the outdoor experience that combat once threatened to take from them.

Forever Outdoors is an organization spanning these two states intended to help people overcome financial, physical, medical and other obstacles that keep them from hunting, fishing, camping, rafting and other outdoor experiences. In this case, Forever Outdoors co-founder Rob Robinson said the soldiers had suffered life-altering injuries in combat, and he wanted to put the outdoors back in their lives.
