Partnership taps Barret for new Chamber job

August 7, 2013

After an extensive search, the Greater Starkville Development Partnership tapped Heath Barret to serve as the new director of membership development for the Chamber of Commerce.

Barret, a Starkville resident, has spent the last seven years working in Mississippi State University’s Office of Admissions and Scholarships as a coordinator for transfer and recruitment. Prior to his time with MSU, Barret worked in sales. The combination of the two skill sets made Barret the clear choice for the position, said Partnership CEO Jennifer Gregory.
