Bull Ring to return to MSU

July 31, 2013

Even though it had a history dating back to 1933, Hart Bailey said he first heard of Mississippi State University’s Bull Ring in July 2009.

Bailey was president of the MSU Faculty Senate at the time, and he was at a send-off party in Batesville for area students about to enter MSU as freshmen. He said a member of MSU’s class of 1961, Mike Clark, asked him what happened to the Bull Ring, and he didn’t know what he was talking about. Bailey said the Bull Ring was not in place when he attended MSU.
