Former Ole Miss women's basketball player Alliesha Easley has the desire to encourage girls and help them develop skills in the game she loves.
One of the ways Easley has chosen to do this is with a camp.
Easley will host a camp Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Starkville Sportsplex for girls ages 7-16.
The primary goal will be to teach girls the fundamentals of basketball and improve their skills in the areas of shooting, dribbling, passing and defense. Those are the things that Easley, who played with the Rebels from 2006-10, feels are important and "very necessary to play."
"This is something I want to do simply because my chance in basketball has dwindled," Easley said. "I just want to invest in girls and help them get better from the knowledge that I received while playing at Ole Miss and even playing at Briarwood Christian in Memphis. I feel like I have a lot to offer and give back and help girls better their skills."
