MATHISTON – A group of Webster County youngsters are spending their summers preparing for the upcoming pee wee football season.
Britt Goodin spends his days as a state trooper in Webster County, but for the past few years, he has been running a summer workout program for area pee wee athletes.
“About five years ago, my son and a few of his friends wanted to get in shape for pee wee so we started the program then,” Goodin said. “We went from about six kids the first year to 20 kids the next to between 30 and 40 last year and we have had about 60 or so this year.”
