Daryl Norris tweeted Friday afternoon that he will sign a contract with the Detroit Tigers.
The Mississippi State junior right hander was drafted in the 22nd round by the Tigers earlier this month in Major League Baseball's First-Year Amateur draft.
Norris took to Twitter Friday to let his decision be known and to thank the many Bulldog fans that supported him.
"I'm excited to say that I will be signing a contract with the Detroit Tigers," Norris tweeted from his account, @DarylNorris5.
