Buckner teaches 9-year-olds how to value, love the game

To Starkville’s 9-year old All-Star coach, baseball is about much more than hitting a ball with a bat.
“I want them to learn that baseball is a great sport,” coach Robert Buckner said. “It can teach you to overcome because you get up to the plate and you are going to strike out some. You are going to miss a ball. You are going to make a mistake and the same thing happens in life.
