OMAHA, Neb. – Mississippi State was looking for its first-ever national championship in any sport.
The Bulldog baseball team fell short at TD Ameritrade Park Tuesday night.
No. 7 (Collegiate Baseball) MSU dropped an 8-0 decision to the No. 6 UCLA Bruins to sweep the College World Series national championship series.
"I thought UCLA just played a great ballgame and we didn't," MSU head coach John Cohen said. "I'm really proud of our kids."
