June 22, 2013

The Mississippi Redbirds and Mississippi Bashers continued to remain alive in the championship bracket of Class A through the afternoon hours on Saturday during the United States Specialty Sports Association 11-Under State Tournament.
The Bashers out-scored the PSA Blacksox 12-8 early on Saturday, while the Redbirds took care of business to defeat the Diamond Freaks 13-7.
It was two big innings offensively that got the Bashers going with a four-run first frame and an 8-run third. Coby Johnson, Gideon White and Cameron Jackson had one single each for the Bashers.
