Banks honored with special day

MABEN – Young and old fans alike were present at W.O. Shivers Park in Maben on Saturday to honor one of their own.
Former Mississippi State and East Webster High School football player Johnthan Banks was recognized with a special day all his own "Johnthan Banks Day."
The second round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April's National Football League draft was almost speechless with the show of support from his hometown.
