Kim O'Brian Pettit

Kim O'Brian Pettit, 72, passed away on June 15, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  She was a retired hairdresser and owner of the Hair Pen Salon in Maben. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Seisen Kinjo and Uta Watanabe; and first husband, Bud O'Brian. 

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Pettit of West Point, MS; daughters, Rosie Thompson (Jerry) of Maben, MS, JoAnne Stonecypher (Randy) of Hoover, AL, Donna Blair (Aubrey) of West Point, MS, and Denise Reid (Gene) of Columbus, MS; sons, Mike Vizzina of Eupora, MS, and Andy Pettit (Sherry) of Columbus, MS; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 

Visitation for Mrs. Pettit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home.  Rev. John Foles will conduct the service.  Burial will be in Maben Memorial Gardens.
