CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Adam Frazier opened the first day of the Charlottesville Super Regional going 6-6 at the plate.
The Mississippi State junior shortstop continued his hot start at the plate in game two.
Frazier was 2-4 Sunday night as the second game of the Charlottesville Super Regional was suspended until today due to weather.
With the two hits, Frazier is tied with Tommy Raffo for the second most hits in a single-season by a Bulldog. Raffo had 102 hits in 1989.
Frazier is one hit shy of the single-season MSU record. Brian Wiese had 103 hits in 1998.
