May 28, 2013

Smith

The Mississippi State Bulldogs will face a tough field of Bears at the Starkville Regional this weekend with the capability of pulling off a victory against them.
Looking at the past couple of seasons, the Central Arkansas Bears and the Mercer Bears have beaten the Bulldogs.
Central Arkansas took two out of three games from MSU earlier this season. After the Bulldogs defeated the Bears 4-2 to open the set, Central Arkansas knocked off State 7-5 in 10 innings and 7-3 in the third game.
It will be interesting to see what happens on Friday when the two teams meet for the fourth time this season.
