New experiences can broaden horizons

As a journalist, and a naturally nosy person, I often find myself in situations out of my comfort zone. In these situations, I tend to learn much. At the very least, I learn whether I ever intend to find myself in a particular situation again.

For the most part, my more daring side is just as prone to asking “Why not?” as my inquisitive side is to asking “Why?” There’s something valuable to collecting memorable experiences, and you can’t do that without stepping outside the box from time to time, right?
