SSD stakeholders discuss marketing, consolidation

Haley Montgomery saw teachable moments in Beatrix Potter's "The Tale of Peter Rabbit," and not just for her children.

Montgomery, owner of Small Pond Graphics, said the book had taught her children to listen to her, given that Peter could have avoided much of his plight had he listened to his own mother. But she said she also learned something from the multiple ways the children learned this lesson — they had multiple "Peter Rabbit" storybooks geared toward different ages, a "Peter Rabbit" film and even a plush Peter Rabbit doll.
